Allergen Declaration

**Allergen Information**

While significant care is taken to ensure the accuracy of allergen information in our menus, we cannot guarantee that any dish is entirely “free-from” allergens. Although a dish may not contain a particular allergen as an ingredient, it will have been prepared in an environment where other allergens are present, leading to a risk of cross-contamination in our kitchen. Our allergen information covers only the 14 allergens we are legally required to declare and is based on data provided by our suppliers. Therefore, some dishes may contain additional ingredients to which you may be allergic or intolerant but are not specifically highlighted. Descriptions of dishes do not include all ingredients or allergens. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements prior to booking to discuss suitability.

Unfortunately our 8-course tasting evenings would be unsuitable for guests with most allergies due to the volume of different ingredients involved in the menu and as such the inherent risk of cross contamination.

Please contact us at info@westwoodsofstaffordshire.com to discuss any concerns you may have if you have any allergies or intolerances we are always happy to help.

**Food Preparation**

Our food can come into contact with other allergens as it is prepared in a kitchen where dishes containing gluten, nuts, dairy and other allergens are also present, Gluten for example, can be classed as an airborne contaminant which is beyond our ability to control.

If you suffer from sensitive trace reactions for any food-related allergen, please be aware that we are unable to guarantee full suitability, and dining with us unfortunately may not be suitable for you.

**Check Allergens for Pre-Ordered Food on Arrival**

Suppliers may occasionally change ingredients, which can alter the allergen content of our dishes. Always ask about the allergen information when you visit – even if you have had the same dish previously or elsewhere.
